OK, so I have some sequences I've done that are all instrumental. I don't have enough to buy sound forge, or Sonar, or Cakewalk, etc. I just need something real basic to extract the midi file to a wav or an mp3. Sound Recorder won't work obviously, as it only records 60 seconds. I use jfw 5.1 for your information. Thanks.

What you want is timidity. It will extract to wav, and I think mp3. It's a little hard to set up, though. You need to find some gus patches and configure them in timidities ini files so it loads them. Link in next post.
